What is Wireframing?

Wireframing is the blueprint stage of digital design. It's where ideas take shape without the distraction of colors, fonts, or images.

Start with low fidelity. Your first wireframes should be rough sketches. Use pen and paper or simple digital tools.

Focus on content hierarchy. What information is most important? What should users see first?

Show the flow. Individual screens don't exist in isolation. Create user flows that show how people move through your product.

Test early and often. Wireframes are perfect for quick user testing. You don't need working code or final designs to get feedback.
